MOSAICO: From the word “Mosaic” A picture or decorative design made by setting small colored pieces, as of stone or tile, into a surface.
As the American Mosaic that represent our neighborhoods, we decided to brand the magazine with an art term as part of our master plan of inclusion instead of exclusion so that we can get to know each other better and take pride in our diversity. Nurturing art and culture as part of the rich uniqueness that have characterized Orange County, just a great place to live.
ALEGRIA: From the Spanish word meaning “Joy” Alegria is intended to bring happiness to our lifes as the ultimate purpose of all human beings regardless of sex, race, color and beliefs. Understanding and acceptance vs fear and tolerance, with philantropic and humanitarian principles, the magazine is a ministry of our organization and the main objective is to simply enjoy life through shared experiences of inspirational stories and motivational anecdotes. All this and more every month at Mosaico Alegria, a new effort created by Cultural Stage of Art & Development.
MOSAICO ALEGRIA
“Sowing the seed of love, hydrating the joy of living”
Foreword from the Editor
Hello, my name is Claudia de la Cruz and I am a Flamenco instructor, dancer & choreographer. I’m also the Artistic Director of Cultural Stage of Art and right now, we’re in need of a bit of financial assistance in exchange for helping to promote your business.
Claudia de la Cruz Flamenco Institute, which you may have heard of, is a school designed for those students devoted to the arts. This season we’re putting together our last perfomance of the year under Cultural Stage of Art that includes the production of “Pastorela Flamenca” our 7th Annual Christmas Recital. We would like have the opportunity to help you promote your business and at the same time you help our school to get the funding through Mosaico Alegria Magazine, a new effort developed by Cultural Stage of Art.
Mosaico Alegria is going to be the first of it’s kind in Orange County introducing a friendly 8×6 format bilingual magazine mainly focused on local art & culture news. Both the paper and the online version are devoted to exploring the diversity of the Orange County metropolitan area, supporting the performing arts and after school programs. Every section it’s intended to send a strong message to nurture spirituality, family values, human virtues and good community relations. With every Ad the sponsor plays a crucial role in helping our programs achieve at the same time they benefit from the great promotional packages we have to offer.
During our Flamenco Christmas Recital, magazines including the Flamenco Recital program will be handed out. In these magazine selected businesses are featured for advertisement under request. Because our performances involve so many of the school’s students, you can always expect large audiences, complete with family members and relatives. Seeing these Ads in the show’s program included in our magazine, many of the viewers may take notice and may be interested in local business such as yours. At the same time you’re contributing to our Flamenco Institute Program by supporting our monthly magazine planned to be launched on December 2006.
If you are interested in purchasing an Ad, please contact us to provide you with the Ad Charts with online banners & graphic design included or you can just run your ad on paper only without design if you provide us with the artwork.
Our school is located on 410-B W. 4th Street, Santa Ana just nearby your business.
If you are interested you may e-mail me at info@culturalstageofart.org or contact me at 714.543.1370. You may also take a look at our Flamenco program at http://www.culturalstageofart.org
